“Fruitcake and Lentils”

Little Prince Louis had his christening ceremony and guests were served tea and the original wedding  fruitcake….now seven years old.

The original creation, weighed 220 lbs…..It has been frozen and saved for each of their children’s christening ceremonies.

Fruitcake is one of those wondrous creations…..if stored properly, it can last longer than most marriages……I have been known to save containers of citron in my fridge for well…….let’s say older than the Royal couple’s elder “creations”………..

Who really knows what citron is……..I just think it’s delicious.   I know most people gag at the sound of the word fruitcake……..I love it.

Maybe like fine wine, a seven year old citron filled fruitcake is even more delicious……Did you know jars of lentils from the Pharaohs’ tombs still sprouted when unearthed ……

That’s it……on my journey, send me off with a jar of lentils and a fruitcake…..I’ll be good.☺
