“The Magick of Gardens”

Meditation comes to us in many forms………we don’t have to fold our legs in sinewy positions……We just have to bend our heads and noses to the face of a flower…….

Gardens bring a solitude of peace that quiets the voice of hatred, anger, and intolerance, so

pervasive in our society today.   I hate to compare those attributes to weeds, because some weeds are kind to hungry creatures and offer sustenance among the “pedigree” of petals.   I keep some weeds among my flowers……milkweed for the monarchs…young spring dandelions to nourish the bees.

When the constant bombardment of hateful voices fill your day…..from news and social media…..come back to a garden……even if it is a tiny weed struggling for life through the cement pavement cracks.    Spend a moment marveling at its strength and courage to greet the sun’s brightness……The moment of meditation will keep the darkness at bay.

Blessings,   Have a conversation with nature today…….it just might be magickal for you  ❤

A tiny bird in my Gettysburg garden enters into a magickal conversation……..   🙂
