If you have read my book, “The Returning Ones, a Medium’s Memoirs,” you know I have a connection with the fairy realm. I write of spirit stones; I truly believe there is magick and spirit in the natural world. But we don’t have to just look for it; we have to believe in it. For those that believe, spirit and fairy presence will make itself known.
At Leap Castle, Ireland, I connected to a beautiful presence. On Nantucket Island, a kind but grumpy little spirit said hello.
You don’t have to travel to Ireland or Nantucket to find them. You can connect in your own backyard.
When I returned from Ireland, I hung a gift on my own tree, like the blackthorn wishing trees I had seen across the Emerald Isle.
Trees, plants, rocks……each holds a presence or soul. If you open your own soul to them, they will respond.
I never take a fairy or spirit stone. I hold them in my hand for a moment, then let them be. Their presence must remain where it rests in peace. It is not for us to disturb, only to connect our hearts for a moment, then bid farewell. Their world is on one plane, ours in another.
I met this little moon man, as I like to call him on a beautiful field of lavender this month. He was nestled among the rocks. I held him for a moment, then placed him back amidst the other stones. You must believe in the energies of the moon, of the stars, of the trees, and of the little stones that lay beside your feet. If you believe, you will see.
