“In the Shadows of our Ancestors” (For Mother’s Day)

I never knew my grandmothers; they each crossed when I was a very small child.  My mother crossed at a young age as well,  before all her grandchildren had a chance to know her.

I never knew much of my family history until I recently did a DNA test.   I found my grandmothers of past generations were spread across the globe……even from the far regions of Romanian Transylvania.

(Maybe that’s the reason one of my poms is called Bram  🙂 after Bram Stoker.   Actually, when he was a baby, two black fangs of fur marked his chin.)

I learned so much of my grandmothers and great grandmothers through this test…….I wonder if the gifts I possess started with a young girl in a gypsy caravan “reading” the energy of others.

If you are fortunate enough to still have mothers and grandmothers on this plane, talk with them and learn as much as you can about them………for you will, in turn, learn who you are.

Who we are is because of our parents and our environmental circumstances in life.   But it is also something else…….something buried deep within us…..something that has traveled the world before we ever took our first breath.walking stick
