The news this week tells of a famous Broadway star who chose to publicly come out of the closet during his 80th decade of life.
Those that matter must have known this; those that really don’t matter probably don’t care that much after all……maybe a momentary, I thought so………..then, on to the next gossip.
It’s a shame really…….How much has really changed since the days of Oscar Wilde, when being who you were could land you in prison. I am sure some of those archaic laws are still on some jurisdiction books. But we don’t need them. Sadly, still too many keep themselves behind the bars of their own private prisons……..
Eighty years is a long sentence…………waiting for closets and bars to unlock.
Blessings Everyone,
Shirl
It’s amazing how uptight people get about other people’s private lives. I think if 2 men (or women) are happy together, then good for them! The world a better place with happy people instead of miserable ones.
