“One of these Days……….”

One of these days, is none of these days.  ~~~~Proverb
Ben Franklin would have hated Facebook……….I seem to remember him saying lost time is never found again.
Social media steals a lot of time.  It is like going for a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, peering into everyone’s lighted windows.  Sometimes you see occupants seated around the dining room table, immersed in cheerful banter.
A lot of windows look like that……..
It is easy to get so enthralled with the goings on in others’ lives that the goings on in one’s own life become diminished.
A few minutes becomes an hour, an hour becomes two……and a chunk of time is lost, never to be found again.
Find something to do with an hour, or two, or three today…….
Instead of window browsing, search the heavens for the full moon and the meteor shower this evening
Maybe read a book, perhaps one of mine.
Ben Franklin would like that.
So would I.
Thanks for losing a few minutes of time with me……………:-)
