“Tears of the Poppy”

Tears It was a mix of sun and rain yesterday in Gettysburg.  After a brief rain shower, I took some photographs in my poppy field at the farm.

The shower of tears was especially poignant on this Memorial Day Weekend.

I spent a nice day meeting new friends at my book signing in Gettysburg.

Thanks to all who support my writing and remembrance to all men, women, children (the drummer boys of the Civil War),  and all the furry and feathered companions who served bravely at their sides.  (Military dogs, horses, and carrier pigeons).
