This morning, two beautiful beings dance at the Bridge.
Kira joins her beloved Taz.
In this world of the Internet, the grief of losing a dog isn’t something that comes every decade or so, if one is lucky.
Now, one grows to love four legged beings who live across the country and across the world.
They find places in our heart even though they have never found a place in our home.
And so it was with Taz and Kira.
Two beautiful dobie spirits who danced together in mortal life. There is a video of them dancing, which I won’t post here for the privacy of the owner. It always makes me smile. This morning it made me smile and cry….for they now dance together at the Bridge, waiting………
Waiting for the ones who loved them most………
For I was but a wallflower, perched against the wall…watching at the dance.
Their devoted family were part of the dance, created the environment and music for them to flourish and love…..
And one day, the dance will play for all of them again, forever.
Taz, your butt must be wiggling with happiness today….make sure Kira’s dance card is full………from his photo, you can imagine what a handsome butt that is. 🙂
You can see that Taz lost a leg to cancer; it still never stopped him from dancing…
Love and Light (especially to my friends Robin and Mike)
