“Sometimes, I wish I had a Trough”

tadBreakfast time at my house is a game of musical bowls…….
Most get the same menu, in differing quantities…..and differing bowls.
Casper is on special food, toothless Bobby and Tad get special soft portions….
Each has their dining spot……some eat in the kitchen, Tad prefers the den……Bailey will eat anywhere a bowl is placed, even if someone else’s mouth is still chomping in it……
But everybody else’s bowl always seems better.
It could have the same thing in it, but like musical chairs, when the music stops, I will always find the wrong dog at the wrong bowl.
Bram will be at Casper’s…….Bud will be at Tad’s……well, you get the picture.
Scolding is pointless…..it is like Groundhog Day……
Each morning the music begins again, and the envied chair is sought.
Yes……sometimes, I wish I had a trough….

Namaste,
Shirl
