remembrance 911If there are days that live in infamy in one’s life……then, certainly 9~11 is one of mine.
A day that brings the saddest of sorrows and the fondest of memories……
I was near to the Towers when they fell; I stood across the water at Liberty State Park at the Statue of Liberty.
I saw them on fire, I saw them fall…I saw the tremendous cloud of smoke that enveloped the entire sky.
I never thought this day could bring happiness again, but it did.
Eight years ago, it brought my Little Guy to me.

A life changing day for my heart……for the worse and for the better……

I took this photograph last night, leaving a restaurant with a view of the NY skyline in the distance. Overhead, a beautiful crescent moon was glowing in the night sky, helping illuminate our flag.
