“Canaries in the Coal Mine”

I read a disturbing article today, about the decline of many bird species in the UK. Add this to the decline of precious bumblebees, eco essential bats, and this can only be harbingers of warnings for our planet.
Little fragile birds…. canaries…. miners use them to see if the air is safe……..
Now many little birds are falling low in numbers.
Maybe these fragile creatures are screaming at us ……… our whole planet isn’t safe…..she is in danger.
Without the pollinators, the seed eaters, the pest eaters, our whole food and eco system is in grave danger.
We are so busy trying to genetically engineer crops we forget the way Mother Nature intended, the best way, is warning us….
We are filling our foods with pesticides, seeds are carrying poisons just like umbilical cords of newborn babies…..
When do we wake up……or do we never wake up from the poisoned coal mine we are entering.
Warning us with each little life….each bee, each bird, each bat and so many other endangered beings on this Planet……man, included.
Our life depends on the tiniest beings, without them, our survival is in jeopardy…..and no engineered ecology can duplicate what we are losing more of every day.
Here is the news link……
