“There’s a new Sheriff in town now……..Good -bye Andy”

Andy Griffith has died……..taking along another chunk of childhood innocence and memories with him.

Wouldn’t we all have liked to live and still live in Mayberry………enjoying Aunt Bea’s pies, without a worry of cholesterol……..

Leaving doors unlocked, the only threat perhaps the town drunk Otis, getting a little too loud……..

Having Barney be our only needed source of protection………:-)………along with the wise and kind Sheriff Andy to keep things as near to perfect paradise as possible.

Where no stress could outwit the nearby fishing hole……….where town gossip was so innocent back then…..before the world changed direction……or so it seems, for most of us old enough to hear that whistling tune in our heads.

Thank you Sheriff Andy, for making my childhood a safe and happy place, whenever I turned on my TV set for an episode from Mayberry……….
