The more I study metaphysical energy, the more I realize how much was known in the old ways.
Old family folklore, superstitions; there is truth in the roots of these beliefs that are now coming to light as we advance in studies perceived as “beyond the physical.”
My family did not know the scientific basis for certain beliefs, but there was ancestral knowledge handed down through the generations. A knowledge about the energy of beings, how we connect, that scientists are finally beginning to acknowledge, was always told in family folklore. I learned about energy, even before I knew what I was learning……
Some families pass down recipes, I was fortunate to come from a culture that passed down ways and beliefs that form the grounding in my metaphysical work.
Ancient cultures, wise shamans, medicine men, they all knew such wonders.
The wonders of Gaia, the pharmacy beneath our feet or above our eyes in the wise, old trees; what a shame this pharmacy is disappearing more and more each day, before we have barely graced its aisles.
As technology advances, it seems we are losing this wonder. Our wonder became the atom, the microchip, the fusion reactor.
I wish we would spend more time realizing the wonders at our feet and eyes; the gifts we have tossed aside as useless……..perhaps they are the most useful of all.
Every plant, every tree, every being has a purpose for being here. Just as all the plants and animals form their own ecosphere and chain; so do they all connect with us. Any weakness or break in that chain will eventually unravel the entire earth.
We have advanced so in technology, we can skype and chat and message anyone on the planet. We always could, without the help of any technological device.
Life energies connect, we need no fiber optics; we only need to access what the ancients knew. Ancient shamans carried no cell phones, their energy reception needed no wires.
Our military has accessed Native American intuition to gain knowledge about the enemy. Distant viewers have lent service in the World Wars to help access pictures of distant enemy sites. And ironically, the only code that could not be cracked by the enemy was created by the Navajo; many brave Navajo kept our communications safe and private. It is just a shame, the purpose of war has lent most creedence in times past to the worth of things beyond the physical.
Such treasures ……. May they never be lost treasures in our world.
Next time you pull a weed from the garden; ponder the fact that this weed may indeed be a treasure undiscovered or needing to be rediscovered again.
Every energy has a purpose, even though the purpose of some may be questionable in our minds. I try to remember that as I flick off a tick or swat at a mosquito; for even they form a link in that chain of our Universe.
Every treasure is waiting to be discovered; too bad the maps of the ancients and indigenous civilizations are disappearing.
