Happy Birthday Richard Felix

Today’s blog  sends well wishes out to my favorite British paranormal historian, Richard Felix.

I have had the pleasure to meet Richard Felix in Gettysburg; his wit and charm did not disappoint.

I have spent many hours with Richard in my living room; he melds history and the paranormal together in his uniquely entertaining way…..and you can often find me sitting on my sofa in front of one of his DVD’s.

Without the need to overdramatize, or rely on eerie effects……through Richard’s storytelling, the actual historical accounts are very often macabre and spine tingling enough…

His tales of gibbet cages, and witches’ trees, and highwaymen still roaming the countryside are the best of all the supernatural DVD’s out there…and one can also learn much history as an added benefit.

I never tire of listening to his stories…..I can watch his DVD’s repeatedly, to me, this is the hallmark of a good storyteller…..

So Richard……

Blessings today on your birthday.

I have told you this before, but will repeat, my Gettysburg farmhouse will always have a welcoming door should you decide to visit this way again….

Have a blessed birthday, and sleep well…..

Namaste,

Shirl
